Old Habits Die Hard...

I just today realized how ingrained my bad habits are, and also how ingrained are my "sneaking" patterns.
I went to the 7-Eleven today to buy milk, knowing full-well that I would also buy a Mountain Dew Mix (my favorite Slurpee/Soda combo). That wasn't the issue. The issue was that I also bought a Monterey Jack and Chicken Taquito and a donut. And then proceeded to scarf them down in the car before I reached home.
The thing I find interesting is that I didn't even remember my SparkPeople commitments until I was about a block from my house, at which point I determined that I would "skip" writing down this particular "breakfast." I instantly decided that, no, this was the PERFECT opportunity to fess up to what I had eaten, and try to learn the lesson.
The questions I NEED to be asking are: "who am I hiding my bad food habits from?" "what am I gaining from sneaking this food? (besides WEIGHT)" "how long do I really want to keep being powerless in the face of junk food and soda?"
Just wanted to take a minute to share that. Hopefully this means I'm learning...
